§14-11-5. Noncompliance by officer, etc., with sentence of solitary confinement.

Any officer or person employed in the penitentiary who suffers any convict under sentence of solitary confinement to be at large out of the cell assigned him, unless directed by the physician to remove him to the hospital on account of sickness, or allows any convict to be conversed with contrary to the regulations of the penitentiary must, on conviction, be fined not less than $100 nor more than $500.
